The College of Critical Care Medicine knows that passing the Fellowship Examination of College of Critical Care Medicine (CCEF) is proof enough of your excellent knowledge and capability to handle critical emergencies. In recognition of this skill and knowledge, the Academic Council of the College has approved that (with immediate effect) all successful (Past and Present) FCCCM fellows can take students under them without any interview, inspection or payment!
There are 3 options for all Fellows:
a). Talk to management of their hospital to apply for ICU recognition OR
b). Go ahead and take students that are atleast MBBS with 1 yr experience in ICU
The difference is only minor (in the exam fee). Students from a recognized ICU have a discounted exam fee.
PROCESS of applying for Teachership is simple:
1. Just download a "teachership for FCCCM fellow" form and fill in details. Form can be downloaded from the Download section.
2. email this (1) fillable PDF form/ word document along with (2) scanned passport size photo as jpeg/jpg/PNG formal and (3) scanned copy of your FCCCM certificate as proof of Passing.
3. This is a one time process and valid life-long irrespective of your changing institute or city.
