Orientation Course AFIC 2024-25 (23-26 NOVEMBER 2024)

Description: This is an Orientation Program for those candidates registered fir the Advanced Fellowship in Intensive Care (AFIC) 2024-25.

Dates are: 23-26 NOVEMBER 2024. Program will start by 9 am on 23rd November and will end by 2 pm on 26th November 2024.

Please note: Medicover hospital is approximately 90 min away from mumbai airport and during rush hours may take even 2 hours. You need to make your own travel and accommodation arrangements. Link to nearby hotels will be shared on whatsapp group or can be found on the Internet (eg. Makemytrip)

 
Topics covered in FCCCM Orientation will not be repeated.

Additional topics covered will include:
1. Overview of the AFIC Examination and its components.

2  interpretation of Hemodynamic data.

3. Understanding bedside Ultrasound and interpretation.

4. Approach to antimicrobial data.

5. How to select the most appropriate empirical antibiotic in different scenarios.

6. interpretation of the antibiogram correctly and antibiotic rules.

7. 2D Echo and interpretation.

8. Graphs and their interpretation. 

9. Medical statistics: calculations and interpretation.

10. Communication.

11. E-cases: what they are and how to approach in exams.

 

Registration cost of the training program is as follows:
Rs. 15,000.00 for Registration for College members appearing for the AFIC-3034-25 exam
Rs. 20,000.00 for Registration with late fee after 10 November 2024
